almost there!
we are on the greyhound bus heading to Eugene! We're both pretty tired and ready to get to the hostel! We should get there around 7ish! Tomorrow, the plan is to meet a guy (spencer) at the bike shop around 8! The shop doesn't even open until 10 so this guy is doing us a big favor...Oh, and it's his day off! We should be hitting the road late morning/early afternoon! Stay tuned :)

What an adventure of a lifetime you guys are on! It's the kind that only a few could ever dream of ...let alone get to do. So, we are so excited and proud of you. I love the blog site....we get to live the trip along with you. Be safe, make good decisions, support and encourage each other. We'll be here if you need anything at all! Pedal hard!

Glad you hooked up...I was a little worried when I got a text from Candy asking "do you know when Mike was supposed to land"? LOL! Anywho, fixing to go watch Michael Phelps win his 2nd gold (hopefully). Maybe you two crazy kids will inspire the Olympic sport of tandem biking...Can't wait to follow you guys on this journey and see you on the flip side. Layne sends kisses to her Uncle Mike and Aunt Candy ;)
So glad you are on the west coast safe and on your way to embark on a trip that you will remember for a lifetime! Pace yourselves, drink lots of water, and make time for 'real' meals :-) Take lots of pictures... you know I'll be making a DVD, so start thinking of your favorite music!! You guys are maniacs. This is such a cool thing to do, I am jealous. Keep up the info on the blog, Molly and I will be checking all the time. We will be praying for you guys, safety and harmony (hahahaha). Have fun man, and be safe.
