Land of the South Wind...Kansas!

Well, we thought we would like Kansas, but it turns out that it really blows...no pun intended! Seriously, the wind blows from the south at around 20-30 mph! This has made our days somewhat miserable! This state takes forever to get through! We're so close to Missouri we can taste it! Nothing too exciting has happened here...we're both starting to feel home calling more and more each day! We're running out of time and money so Kentucky looks like the end of the line for us! Still, that's two more states to go so keep checking this thing! :)

Oh, and we're in Toronto, KS!

Much love,
Candy & Mike

Toronto,KS.... did you ever get showers? I hope so :[)
You KNOW you can make it to Kentucky!!! Hang in...the angels are still with you guys! You have accomplished so much in this trip.... and not just the fact that you have biked farther than anyone that I have ever known..... Heather may eventually catch up with you!! I don't know how you do it.... but ya gotta keep on pedaling to Kentucky! A free ride home for you and your bike is worth it, right!
Love ya and miss you both sooooo much!

Yeah! an end in sight.....so that has to be great motivation to keep pedaling. We miss you too! Can't wait to have you guys back. But WOW are we proud! You two have amazed us beyond belief. Just stop and take a moment to ponder how much you have conquered, endured, overcome, seen and experienced.
It is more than most people experience in a life time. So another WoooHOO shout out to you guys. We will be here cheering you on all the rest of the way. BE safe, and keep you spirits high. It's almost over. LOVE you,
